Daily Schedule 6:00 am Good morning, lights on, music started, fresh water and breakfast served, all with hugs and kisses. 7:00 am Maid Service
8:00 am - 12:00 noon Brushing or combing, and lap time. 12:00 noon Lunch (if normal routine), music changed, fresh water, dry food added as needed. 2:00 - 5:00 pm Playtime (toys or lap time). 6:00 pm Dinner served. 7:00 - 8:00 pm Cushions brushed and fluffed, fresh water, hugs and kisses, brushing or petting, tucked in for the night. 8:30 - 9:00 pm Last check and lights out, music off. Cats hear my voice and see me in and out, all day. Litter boxes are changed twice daily; fresh water is available at all times; and room temerature remains at 70 degrees. This is an approximate schedule, although I try very hard to keep the same routine, as cats appreciate familiarity. I also try to give them as much personal attention as possible, calling their names often and helping them feel at home. Doors are secured at all times. |
